by | Mar 11, 2009

Taproot Theatre presents a free behind-the-scenes look at its upcoming production of “Tuesdays with Morrie” at the Greenwood Library, 8016 Greenwood Ave. N., at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Director Karen Lund will discuss the play and actors will give the audience a sample of what they’ll see and experience during the Mainstage production. “Tuesdays with Morrie” was written by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, and is based on Albom’s popular book about his former professor who taught him life lessons beyond the classroom.
The show opens March 27 and runs through April 25, with low-price previews on March 25 & 26, plus a pay-what-you-can performance on April 1. For tickets, call Taproot’s box office at (206) 781-9707 or Ticketmaster at (206) 292-ARTS.
