Art Up Greenwood-Phinney this Friday

by | Mar 12, 2009

Is it already that time? Yup, the monthly installment of the Art Up Greenwood-Phinney art walk is this Friday.

A total of 19 locations from 67th to 90th are participating from 6-9 p.m. The event is bookended by live painting at the Art on the Ridge Studio, 9050 Phinney Ave. N., on one end and a showing at the Francine Seders Gallery, 6701 Greenwood Ave. N. on the other.

You’ll find lots of artists, music at Makeda Coffee, 153 N 78th St., and more than few opportunities to nibble on snacks and sip some wine. Here’s a shot from last month’s event at Strut, where Roniq Bartanen (on the left), discussed her photography, including some arresting portraits of children in Southeast Asia.

More details hereon the Art Up Greenwood-Phinney blog and a printable mapat the Greenwood-Phinney Chamber of Commerce site.
