by | Oct 13, 2008

The Seattle Times reports that a 38-year-old man was convicted today in the rapes of three Phinney Ridge women 12 years ago.
Mark Rathbun is already serving more than 1,000 years for a series of rapes in southern California. The jury today took just 2-1/2 hours to convict Rathbun of three counts of first-degree rape and three counts of first-degree burglary. He reportedly targeted women who lived alone and snuck into their Phinney homes while they were sleeping in 1996.
