Final countdown for Couth Buzzard

by | Aug 13, 2008

The Couth Buzzard used book store has been a neighborhood fixture for 20 years, but its doors will be closing this Sunday.

Owners Gary Lovchik and Theo Dzielak are bummed about not being able to find a new home after their lease ran out, but they’re planning on going out in style, with music, food and other surprises on Saturday and Sunday.

As for that, they need help with set-up. They’re also looking for performers of all kinds as well as testimonials and eulogies. Call 789-8965 to volunteer.

The store, along with Allusia and the former Greenwood Bakery will all become part of an expanded Ken’s Market.
