Live music during a quiet weekend in the neighborhood

by | Jan 5, 2013

Seems like a pretty quiet weekend in the neighborhood, as everyone comes down from their holiday high. These are the few events we know of.

Friday night at 7:30 p.m., it’s Jazz First Fridays with Ronin 3 and guests at Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Café, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N. Then on Saturday, the bookstore hosts Songwriters in Seattle — Susan Elliot, Lisa Dilk, Kathryn Grimm and Roo Forrest, from 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Empty Sea Studios presents Danny Barnes and Matt Sircely in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12 advance, $15 at the door.

Tim’s Tavern hosts TriviApocalypse at 8 p.m. on Monday, at 602 N. 105th St.
