Low Income Housing Institute needs volunteers for its computer and job search programs

by | Jan 2, 2013

The Low Income Housing Institute is looking for volunteers for its Computer Technology and Job Search Training Program. The program is for formerly homeless and low-income residents. LIHI has two large housing sites in Greenwood, the Denice Hunt Townhomes at 620 N. 85th St. and the Cate Apartments at 312 NW 85th St.

As a volunteer, you’ll spend time each week working with our residents one-on-one to help them find jobs and fill out applications while building skills around basic computer programs. Through this program you’ll get the opportunity to gain tutoring experience, share your skills and build relationships with your neighbors!
