Greenwood Streetscapes workshop for North 97th St Thursday night

by | Nov 3, 2010

Greenwood Streetscapes is holding another in a series of workshops to help bring sidewalks and safer pedestrian access to Greenwood residential areas.
Thursday night’s workshop will focus on North 97th Street from Greenwood Avenue North to Dayton Avenue North.
The workshop is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Neighborhood Service Center at 8515 Greenwood Ave. N.

The discussion will include ideas / feedback about the possibility for a walkway / steps to connect Greenwood Ave N to the street end up the hill to the east.
Neighbors and volunteer professionals will study a map of that block, learn about the street right-of-way and visualize streetscape possibilities so that a preliminary block plan can be developed for neighbors to consider.

If you can’t make it to the workshop but want to share your ideas, contact Jim Jackson or Kate Martin.
