Community Chorus spring fundraiser to help Haiti school

by | May 17, 2010

The Phinney Neighborhood Community Chorus is holding its annual spring fundraiser on June 12 to raise money for a primary school in Haiti. The chorus has long supported Lekol Pa Nou, in the remote village of Pichon in southeast Haiti. The Chorus’s motto is “sing local act global.”

The concert is at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, at Woodland Park United Methodist Church, 302 N. 78th St. All donations go directly to the school.

Last year the concert raised over $10,000, enough to fund salaries and supplies for three teachers for a year! Hope you’ll come, whether you can afford to donate or not!
