Empty Amazon boxes found in alley

July 29th, 2015 by Doree

Sharon tells us she found two empty Amazon Prime boxes in the alley behind her home. She assumes someone stole the boxes from porches, took the contents, then threw the boxes away.

One box’s address is 720 N. 95th St., Apt. C; the other’s is 6230 4th Ave. NW.

UPDATE: The owner of the box for 6230 4th Ave NW has been located.

‘Tis the season for thieves to steal packages from porches

November 21st, 2012 by Doree

Like clockwork, thieves have begun to steal packages from front porches. We received an email from Kathy, who tells us someone stole mail and packages from her Greenwood porch several times over the past week. She’s heard from several neighbors that they were victims as well.

It’s a good idea to have packages shipped to your work address, or to a P.O. box or shipping business in your neighborhood, like Greenwood Sip & Ship.
