Dance Fremont

Dance Fremont is a non-profit community dance school for youth and adults, providing in-depth ballet and modern dance training since 1996. In an inclusive, empowering studio environment, we use the art of dance to inspire joy, creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. We believe that high-quality dance training should be available to everyone, and welcome all backgrounds, bodies, and identities.

We expand access to dance instruction, performance, and resources to the wider Puget Sound community through scholarship programs, accessible public performances, subsidized rehearsal space, and community partnerships. We teach dance with an emphasis on anatomical education and alignment so that each student can understand what is best for their own body and dance with healthy longevity. We promote collaborative exploration, peer-to-peer support, and thoughtful observation and feedback in the classroom, enabling deep learning and creating a safe space for learning and growth.
