Join us for a summer full of engaging weekly themes, activities, and field trips! Learn new skills, explore new friendships, and provide your child a chance to grow and learn in a safe, fun environment. Our camps are open to all kids entering Kindergarten – 5th grade. Everyone is welcome!
Camp hours are from 9-3 p.m. with optional a.m./p.m. care available: AM care 6:45 a.m.-9 a.m.; PM care 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

High Country Outfitters is a horse camp in the central cascades near Cle Elum, WA. Our day rides and pack trips will take you into the spectacular back country of the Stuart Mountain Range. The rustic base camp facility is available to rent with kitchen tent and 4 sleeping cabins that can handle up to 32 guests for any type of event, office party, whatever.
Camp Wahoo Kids Camp is one of a kind. Campers 8-16 years get their own horse for the entire week and ride every day. The week includes an overnight pack trip with mules carrying all the gear to one of our outcamps. The week is filled with games and singing and good food! No riding experience required!

Themed adventure camps at three locations!
Actors in the Round. Designed for your budding thespian, this youth actor’s camp teaches introductory acting methods for the screen and stage. Students learn theater history, improvisational games, concentration and sensory awareness, vocal and movement techniques all while enhancing their imaginations. For our field trip, we will be going to the CSZ Improv Show for a first hand look at life on the big stage.
Dirt Detectives. An exploration into the world underground, our young archeologists will explore the rich history of the Pacific NW and how native peoples settled and thrived on these lands hundreds of years before us. Our dirt detectives will learn about fossils, bones and artifacts found in the Seattle area that date back to the Ice-age. We will be visiting everyone’s favorite, The Burke Museum, for our field trip.
Into the Woods. This camp is all about the outdoors. Students will be hiking in area park forests and will learn helpful hiking safety tips, survival and first aid skills. Pack your hiking shoes, back packs, water bottles and energy bars and get ready for adventures on the trail. All hikes will be “kid friendly,” with a grand hike and summer picnic at Twin Falls.
National Dance Day. “Come dance with us.” This year we are proud to announce our participation in the Dizzy Feet Foundation’s National Dance Day. Students joining these camps will learn this year’s dance routine and then come back together on Saturday, July 29th at Seattle Center to perform in unity with others from around the world. There’s a great big world of dance and movement and we will explore hip-hop, break dance, modern and broadway!
Play Ball! This camp is for kids who love to run and play ball. Students of all athletic levels will have fun playing a variety of field games outdoors. They will learn teamwork, sportsmanship, game rules, and ball movement techniques. For our field trip, we’re going to see a Mariners Game at Safeco Field !!
Mad Science. Professor P is back with more of his mad science antics and experiments. This week is all about fun, hands-on, interactive science experiments, chemical reactions, engineering and robots. We’re going CSI with forensic science problem solving games. Our science focused field trip will be a trip to the Pacific Science Center.
Return to Hogwarts. Magic, Muggles and Mastery of Year 2. This Harry Potter themed camp will once again be filled with spell-bounding magic. Campers will be sorted into Houses and compete for House Cups. We’ll conjure our own fantastic beasts, make spell journals and head out on quests wearing our themed costumes and props. An in-house field trip with George A Magician will be a hit. It’s time again for Summer School.
Seattle Soundscapes. In this themed music camp, we explore every day sounds and use them to tell stories. Students will make instruments, learn about Seattle’s rich history of rhythm and blues. Young musicians will create their own musical masterpieces to perform in groups or solo on the ILS stage. Students will explore the sounds of guitar, ukulele, piano and marimba as well as their vocal instrument. Our featured field trip will be to MoPOP (previously EMP).
Star Wars: Go Rogue. The galaxy seems close to home and this year we go rogue with the Rebels. Join new and old friends for an epic week of galactic-sized adventures. Harnessing their inner force, students will learn teamwork and collaboration through fun games and far out activities. We’ll learn about space travel and solar transportation. We will be visited by the Museum of Flight, featuring the “Flying Gizmo Show.”
Waters of the Pacific NW. In this out-door themed camp, students will explore inside the tide pools and visit various area beaches. They will learn the differences between fresh and salt water ecosystems as well as the delicate waterways in between, basic navigation systems, various knot making, and the history of our lighthouses. For our field trip we will row across Lake Union in umiaqs at the Center for Wooden Boats.
Sunshine Music Together is the Golden Teddy Award Winner for Best Music Class in Seattle for five consecutive years as well as the 2016 Red Tricycle Totally Awesome Award Winner for Music Class in Seattle! Music Together is a researched-based, internationally recognized early childhood music development program for children aged birth to 5 and their parents or caregivers. The 45-minute classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement and instrument play. Activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences. Learn the ways of the force in Emerald City Karate’s Star Wars themed martial arts summer camp! We’ll be making our own Light Sabers to use when defending the galaxy from the Sith in incredible Light Saber Duels. The Jedi themed drills, games, and arts and crafts in this camp are sure to make your Summer out of this world. We’ll finish up the camp with an award ceremony showcasing your interstellar achievements. Bring your Padawan Pals to experience the heart-stopping excitement of this Star Wars themed camp! Harry Potter Camp: Expelliarmus! You’re sure to be spell bound at our Hogwarts School of Magic! Calling all wizards and spell casting wanderers!
Join us for an adventure filled week at Hogwarts School of Magic. Expelliarmus! What House will the Sorting Hat place you in? Unlock your potential and discover the answers waiting for you inside the wondrous world of Harry Potter. Featuring: Quidditch matches, Wand Battles, Nerf Gun Wars, Magic Potions, “Defense Against the Dark Arts” self defense techniques, “Transfiguration” Arts & Crafts and more! We’ll finish up the camp by presenting certificates of completion during our Awards Ceremony showcasing the various merits of our campers.
Indiana Jones Camp: Learn the secrets of the Greatest Treasure Hunter of all time!
Attention Treasure Hunters! We need your help to locate and preserve ancient artifacts from around the globe before they fall into the hands of evil doers of all kinds! This Indian Jones/Treasure Hunter themed camp will sure to be the Crown of our Epic Summer Season featuring incredible games, drills, and arts and crafts. Decipher ancient texts, follow treasure maps, search abandoned temples, and avoid the deadly booby traps left to protect these priceless wonders of long forgotten civilizations. This globe trotting adventure filled camp will challenge your child both physically and mentally as we train both the body and the mind to be in top condition!
Secret Agent Camp: Become a Double Agent and earn your License for Thrills!
“Your mission, if you choose to accept it. . .” We need your help to save the planet from treacherous villains in our Secret Agent summer camp! This martial arts summer camp with a secret agent theme is sure to be the highlight of your child’s summer. We’ll be learning combat rolls, sneaking through laser grids, perfecting the art of disguise, breaking codes, perfecting disarming techniques if faced with a foe, and be having an all out NERF gun war. Learn to dust for fingerprints so you can catch the criminals in the act. Our agents will also be sent out on various missions as we visit different locations of interest on Fields Trips to the movie theater, local parks, and even Wild Waves Amusement Park! Emerald City Karate has a license to THRILL in this Secret Agent Summer Camp.
American Dance Institute studios in Greenwood and Magnolia will each offer a full summer of week-long dance camps for ages 5 through Teenager. Look for fun morning, afternoon and full day camps for Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Pre-Ballet/Jazz/Tap Combination. The camp schedule will be posted soon. Stone Soup Theatre
SUMMERSTAGE 2017! Kids ages 5 to 16, spend the summer in the sun with Stone SoupTheatre. Three beautiful outdoor parks: Meridian Park in Wallingford, Mt. Baker Community Club in S. Seattle, and Marymoor Park on the Eastside. Weekly camps June 26-Sept 1, include Jungal Book, Aesop’s Nonstop, Musicals and more. All camps culminate in a Friday performance. YEAR ROUND YOUTH CONSERVATORY at the Wallingford Presbyterian Church , our new performance space. We’ll have two performances of Jungal Book, March 29th and 30th. Tickets are pay what you will so bring the whole family! Our spring performance program will be A Midsummer Night’s Dream with auditions in early April. Watch for the return of Stone Soup’s professional theatre highlighting the short plays from some of the greatest writers of our time.
We will learn the names of the strings, how to play chords, and how to strum to our favorite songs. We’ll even write music together then show it off to your parents at the end of the week.

Imagine Art Camp in Lower Queen Anne
July 10-14. Kids ages K-5th. Guided by local professional artists, we will explore our artistic voices through visual and performance art. Is your daughter interested in outdoor adventure and science?
Our Saturday STEM Sail & Robotics program with the Center for Wooden Boats (CWB) encourages girls, ages 10-14, to build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of adventure. The program is from Sept 16 – Nov 4, 9:00 am-4:00 pm at CWB.
Girls experience hands-on robot design, testing, and building, along with sailing, and exploring the Puget Sound above and below its surface on sailboats and with robots.
Campers will come back excited about what they’ve built learned, and grinning from ear to ear. More info can be found on our Website. Scholarships are available through CWB and FROGPRINTS e!
