Valerie Green, owner of Pivot Organizing, is a professional organizer offering in-person services in the Seattle area and virtual services globally. I help you make space and time for what matters most through home and office organizing, downsizing and moves, and consulting on time management and leadership. Here are the services I offer:
HOME & OFFICE ORGANIZING: I help clients make good decisions about what to keep and then figure out organizing systems, storage solutions, and room layouts that work for their space, stuff, and behaviors. I specialize in storage systems design, small spaces, creative work, neurodivergence, divergent family members, paper management, and re-use.
DOWNSIZING & MOVES: I help people come up with goals and a plan, and coach people as issues emerge. We figure out what to keep and define new organizing systems and room layouts to meet the current lifestyle. I specialize in downsizing without a deadline, small moves, and unpacking moves.
TIME MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP CONSULTING: I provide consulting on topics including time and task management, prioritization, leadership, team-building, career development, and meeting facilitation. I learn about what clients are doing today, celebrate what’s working already, and identify techniques to address challenges.
A bit about me: Originally from New York City, I now live in Seattle with my husband and rescue dogs and enjoy fitness activities, cooking, and decorating my topiary llama. I believe organizing can be a therapeutic self-care activity that really improves quality of life. I love helping people be thoughtful about what they have and why, and setting up structures and systems that help people stay organized long-term.
