Greenwood Neighbors Protecting Neighbors March scheduled for Saturday at 1pm

by | Jan 29, 2026

Neighbors are invited to gather in Greenwood this Saturday, January 31st, for Greenwood Neighbors Protecting Neighbors, a community-led action rooted in solidarity, visibility, and connection. The march begins with a meet-up at 1:00 pm at Alice Ball Park, located at 8102 Greenwood Ave N, with the march stepping off at 1:30 pm.

This event is an opportunity for neighbors to stand together in solidarity with Minneapolis, speak out against ICE activity in Seattle, and connect with local resistance and mutual aid efforts. Organizers emphasize that this is a welcoming, inclusive space for community members who want to show up, be heard, and support one another through collective action.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own signs or create one on site at the art station before the march begins. Whether you are a longtime activist or attending your first march, this gathering is designed to be accessible, creative, and grounded in care for our local community.

The march is supported by Greenwood Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a grassroots mutual aid network that connects people in the neighborhood with resources, information, and ways to support one another in times of need. Their ongoing work centers community care, solidarity, and collective action right here in Greenwood.

All are welcome to attend, listen, learn, and stand together. This is a chance to show that Greenwood neighbors look out for one another and are committed to justice, dignity, and community connection.
