13th annual PhinneyWood Pride Rainbow Hop is this Saturday

by | Jun 2, 2025

The PNA has a rich 40-year history of strengthening a sense of belonging in our community, which we help achieve through one of our signature events: Rainbow Hop. This Pride and LGBTQIA+ event celebrates finding oneself, encourages inclusivity and diversity in our community, and seeks to help individuals feel authentically seen, heard, and valued. We invite you to be a part of this gay, family-friendly, and multi-generational celebration!

The day will start out with a free anti-bullying play at the Taproot Theatre at 9:30 – reserve your free tickets here. Families will then travel the Rainbow Hop route between 87th and 67th on Greenwood Avenue and take part in dozens of Pride-centric activities and crafts. Participating businesses and organizations will stamp the Rainbow Hop map (available at the event) as you participate throughout the route. Kids with at least 6 stamps can exchange their maps for a free Woodland Park Zoo ticket in front of HomeStreet Bank between 12:30 and 1:30pm (look for the guy in the rainbow cowboy hat).

9:30am: Free Anti-Bullying Play at Taproot Theatre
10:30am – 1:30pm: crafts and activities along Greenwood Avenue

By participating in Rainbow Hop, you become part of a movement that seeks to make Northwest Seattle a healthy, inclusive community where everyone belongs.

Put on your finest Pride outfits and join us as we parade through our neighborhood in celebration of our connected and inclusive community!
