Support the Woodland Park Zoo by endorsing the King County Parks Levy

by | May 19, 2025

Since 2008, King County parks, trails, open spaces, and the zoo have depended on voter-approved levies for upkeep and preservation–and cities across our county rely on levy funding to maintain and expand local parks and playfields. The King County Parks Levy, which is on the August primary election ballot, is a critical investment in not only places to recreate, play, and learn– but helps safeguard forests, farmlands, and watersheds critical to public health and climate resilience. This Levy also supports Woodland Park Zoo including programs such as the Community Access Program.

Please join Woodland Park Zoo in supporting the Yes for Parks campaign by endorsing the Levy and helps renew this essential funding which includes support for CAP.

Do you lead or own a local organization or business? You can add your organization’s name in support of the Levy!

If you are unable to support the Levy but are interested in other ways to support the zoo, please reach out to them at [email protected].
