Plan to be in the neighborhood of the Phinney Neighborhood Association Blue Building?

The Ed Medeiros Gallery Wall is an exciting way to get to know your neighbors you may have not yet met. Informally known as the Ed Wall, this gallery space is located on the third floor of the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s upper Blue Building. On a monthly rotation, we feature organizations, businesses, and individuals who work and create in our PhinneyWood neighborhood and beyond.

The Ed Wall is named after Ed Medeiros, former director and one of the original board members of the PNA who had a passion for supporting and making art happen at the PNA. The gallery wall was dedicated to him at the time of his retirement in 2010 and honors his legacy.

We hope the Ed Wall allows you to see an organizations’ creative expression and feel connection with the stories of others. Check out what they do, who they serve and how you might get to know them better.

Current and upcoming installations:

April – Lake City Collective – pictured above, a minority-led, grassroots, non-profit organization doing advocacy-in-action work on issues that primarily affect BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) communities north of Seattle’s ship canal, including surrounding cities.

May – Native Youth Olympics – Tlingit & Haida sponsored a Washington Team to attend the recent 2025 Traditional Games in Juneau, Alaska. The traditional athletic contests and northern games developed the strength and skill of countless generations of Alaskan native people which they depend on for survival in everyday life.

June – Charlie’s Queer Books – highlighting queer authors from the Pacific Northwest.

July – Lighthouse for the Blind – empower people with visual impairments to live independently, pursue employment, and achieve their full potential.
