After a grand opening celebration last Sunday that was packed and filled with adoring fans, Mr. Gyros is officially open for business again more than 9 years after it was destroyed in the 2016 PSE gas explosion. The journey has been well-documented, and the Seattle Times ran a wonderful piece over the weekend that highligted the event and what got brothers Sammy and Joni to this place.
The new location is at 8535 Phinney Ave N: go up on 1 block to the east from the corner of 87th and Greenwood, turn right on Phinney, and there is the new oasis of Mediterranean food back where it should be. Current hours are Monday-Saturday from 8am-9pm, and Sundays from 8am-7pm.
