Instructor Robert Friedman, who has practiced Tai Chi for over 40 years and taught for almost 10 years, is offering a new series at the Phinney Center Wednesdays from 10:30am to 11:45am beginning March 12th and running through April 23rd.
“My class will focus on teaching students the classical Tai Chi set within the context of a 21st century sensibility. I will provide examples of Tai Chi movements you can practice at home as you begin to learn the sequence of movements in the Tai Chi set.”
Through practice, Tai Chi can enable you to improve your balance, posture, strength, flexibility, peace of mind and ability to cope with stress. Practitioners often learn how better to nurture and cultivate their energy, and feel more energetic after classes. This class is suitable for both beginning and experienced students of all ages, people with physical limitations. and those seeking a very physically challenging experience. The tuition for this seven class session is $60, and you can register by contacting Robert at [email protected].
