Summer registration now open at Dance Fremont – an inclusive community for all dancers

Dance Fremont, a beloved dance studio in the heart of Greenwood, located above the Hummus Café at 8420 Greenwood Ave N, is excited to announce that summer registration is now open. With a wide range of camps, classes, and intensives for youth, teens, and adults, Dance Fremont continues to foster a welcoming, inclusive space where all dancers can thrive.

Dance Fremont is more than just a dance studio—it’s a community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Dance Fremont is dedicated to making quality dance education accessible to everyone. Through scholarships, subsidized rehearsal space, and community partnerships, the studio ensures that dancers of all backgrounds feel supported and celebrated.

“At Dance Fremont, we believe in the transformative power of dance,” says Artistic Director Karena Birk. “Our classes go beyond technique—we cultivate creativity, confidence, and connection in a space where every student belongs.”

Whether your child dreams of twirling like Moana, performing ballet stories, or dancing to Taylor Swift’s biggest hits, Dance Fremont offers fun and enriching summer camps for ages 3-12. Older students and adults can explore weekly classes, teen intensives, and workshops in ballet, modern, and jazz. Summer programs include:

Youth Classes & Camps

  • Themed Dance Camps for Ages 3-12 (New: Moana, Frozen, Under the Sea, Ballet Stories, and Taylor Swift Dance Camps)
  • Weekly Classes for Ages 3-9

Teen Intensives & Workshops (Ages 12-19)

  • Modern Repertory Workshop
  • Modern Partnering Workshop
  • Ballet Repertory Workshop
  • Springboard Into Fall (Ages 10-19)

Adult Classes (Ages 15-99)

  • Beginning Ballet, Jazz, and Modern
  • Beginning-Intermediate Ballet
  • Intermediate-Advanced Drop-in Ballet
