Navigating the journey of menopause and midlife transition can often feel overwhelming, especially with the barrage of conflicting information on social media. However, a dedicated team of four local women—a physician, a physical therapist, a dietitian, and a pharmacist—has created the Midlife Women’s Health Collaborative (MWHC).
United by our mission to support women navigating midlife and menopause, MWHC brings a unique blend of expertise, lived experience, and personal passion. We are committed to helping women embrace midlife with confidence and vitality. Our goal is to educate, inspire, and empower women to take control of their health and well-being, redefining what it means to thrive before and after menopause.
MWHC is now offering sessions, both in-person and virtual, right in the PhinneyWood neighborhood. These sessions are designed to simplify the noise from social media and provide clear, practical insights.
The next two sessions are:
- In-Person Event: March 5th, 7pm at the Phinney Center (6532 Phinney Ave N)
- Virtual Session: March 19, at 7pm
At these sessions, attendees will gain valuable insights and practical tips on various aspects of midlife wellness, including menopause and its symptoms, weight loss strategies, hormone therapy, strength and mobility routines, and nutrition tips. The MWHC plans to offer more sessions and topic-focused events to dig deeper into the things most on your mind. The goal is to ensure women are armed with the knowledge and skills to navigate midlife.
