Phinney Books 10th birthday party this Thursday

by | Jun 17, 2024

Where does the time go? Our beloved Phinney Books, which sprung from the ashes of Santoro’s Books at 7216 Greenwood Ave, is turning a decade old this Thursday. The PhinneyWood community and beyond are invited to come celebrate after hours starting at 7pm

On the evening of our actual birthday, June 20, we’re going to host a little after-hours party for anyone who’d like to celebrate with us. We can say three things: there will be food (while it lasts), there will be drink (while it lasts), and NO BOOKS WILL BE SOLD. We just love the idea of coming out from behind the counter and visiting with the people who have made these ten years possible, and made them such a joy. And then on the weekend, June 22 and 23, we’ll have a more traditional bookstore party, with a 10% discount across the store, Top 10 list making, and more fun that we have yet to concoct. Further details to come, but we hope you can join us for one or both celebrations!
