Searching for that one-of-a-kind treasure or the last two mismatched plates you need to reach a dozen? Good news – Garage Sale Day is this Saturday May 21st from 9am – 1pm! Find garage sales galore around the PhinneyWood neighborhood, aided by a mobile map that you can find here.
We are thrilled to welcome the Flea Market back to the Phinney Center upper parking lot in 2022 after several years hiatus. Come browse with dozens of mobile vendors and also take advantage of a free recycle and shred event:
Recycle & shred at the Phinney Center
From 9 am to 1 pm (or until capacity is reached) you can bring the following items for recycling and disposal in our parking lot. Once any one of the trucks is full, it will not be able to take any more recyclables.
- Household batteries (no leaking or broken, tape ends)
- Fluorescent tubes and bulbs (no broken bulbs, limit 4)
- Small Electronics (TVs, computers, etc.)
- Small Appliances (non-Freon microwaves, toasters, etc.)
- Paper for shredding (limit 4 boxes)
- Styrofoam (Clean & Dry – remove labels and tape)
- Clothing (shoes, pants, shirts, purses, belts)
- Curtains and drapes
- Small propane canisters (camp stove size)
Paper shredding will happen on-site using a collection truck’s built-in mechanism.

Tool Library Sale
Our Tool Library will sell tools during Garage Sale Day in our parking lot flea market! There will be a lot of great tools at cheap prices, and you can take a tour of the Tool Library during the sale.
All proceeds benefit the Tool Library, a community program that offers thousands of tools to rent at low prices. It’s the perfect place to start your next DIY project!

Phinney Farmers Market signs available at the flea market!
We’re thrilled to welcome the Phinney Farmers Market back to our upper parking lot from June 3 through Sept. 30. Get ready to fill Friday afternoons from 3 to 7pm with neighbors, fresh produce, food vendors, and music!
A Seattle Neighborhood Farmers Markets representative will be at our Garage Sale Day flea market giving out farmers market signs. The Phinney Farmers Market is a partnership between the PNA and Seattle Neighborhood Farmers Markets, a community-based non-profit which brings Washington State farmers into the city to sell their farm-fresh produce.
The signs are first come, first served so show up early if you’d like to help promote the farmers market from your yard!
