PNA Book Exchange tomorrow at 11am

by | Feb 18, 2022

It’s time again for the semi-annual PNA Book Exchange. Trade your gently used books for new ones to you, meet other readers and get recommendations on what to dive into next.

The PNA will accept five book genres at the exchange: mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, kids’ & young adult, and cookbooks.

Here’s how it works:

  • Bring in gently used books you don’t want anymore (only the genres listed above, please).
  • PNA will give you one ticket for each paperback and two tickets for each hardback.
  • Use your tickets to “buy” more books: paperbacks cost one ticket, hardbacks cost two.
  • Don’t have books to exchange or want to buy more than you brought in? Purchase paperbacks for $1 and hardbacks for $2.

The PNA is also excited to welcome representatives from local nonprofit Books to Prisoners. Stop by to learn more about their work. In addition to the genres we will have at the swap, they will be taking book donations in the following frequently requested genres: gardening/farming, investing, mythology, getting a CDL (Commercial Driver’s license), D&D guides.

Proof of vaccine and boosters (for all those eligible) and masks are required for entry. (COVID-19 guidelines page)
