New drive through/walk up coffee business celebrating 3 months

Located in a 1974 Vintage Airstream Trailer, Riveted Coffee Drive Thru is celebrating 3 months of business in February!  A local family-owned and woman-run small business, Riveted is dedicated to “quick service with quality ingredients, served with a big friendly smile.” They are located kitty corner from the legendary Chuck’s Hop Shop on NW 85th St. and 8th Ave NW.

“We saw a need in Greenwood for a drive through and walk up due to the busy 85th Street commuter arterial.  So we gutted the trailer, plugged up the leaks and fortified her with a fun custom interior build and opened the trailer doors.  Our Palm Springs vibe is sure to make you feel welcome,” says Andrea Sligar, Riveted’s owner and manager.

Andrea is the 6 foot tall blonde lady who can barely stand up straight inside her own trailer. She’s a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, so she wanted the offerings to be something you would return for again and again and also be a good value.  The two other owners are her husband and nephew who are realtors at the Greenwood Windermere office.

“We went through a name change from Streamline to Riveted last month and we are embracing the character of our trailer.  There are hundreds of rivets!” says Sligar.

Partners include Caffe D’arte, Lotus Atomic Energy Drinks (a caffeinated Italian soda), Monin Syrups and Sauces, Tosti Breakfast Sandwiches on ciabatta bread.  And don’t forget the corn dogs, a treat for kids and adults alike.

Favorite Signature menu items are S’mores Cold Brew with Marshmallow Whip, Basil Lime Spritzer and Ruby Hibiscus Tea with Cranberry.

They’re just a hop, skip and a jump from for neighbors in Phinney Ridge, Ballard, Crown Hill, Sunset Hill & Broadview.
