Live theater is back at our local Taproot Theatre! See How They Run runs January 26 – March 5, 2022, and is a wonderfully hilarious romp of a show (Taproot was kind enough to let me in to a packed opening night last week). The show’s byline:

All Penelope wants is an evening out on the town; even vicars’ wives deserve a little fun. But between a buzzed busybody in the closet, a volley of vicars galloping across the lawn, and a Soviet spy on the loose, her night of fun creates mayhem for all. Precocious and preposterous, this comedy is pure pandemonium!

Three inexpensive ways to see professional theatre in your neighborhood:

(1) Pay What You Can: February 2 at 7:30 PM.

  • Beginning at 5:00 PM on the day of the show, you name the price of your ticket! (Purchase in-person only, limit 4 tickets per person. Seating is general admission; call the box office if you have accessible seating needs.)
  • OR, a limited number of $10 tickets are available at noon day of show and may be purchased in person or by phone (card fees may apply).
  • Learn more about PWYC: https://taproottheatre.org/pay-what-you-can-info-faq/
