Half Moon Bouldering opens registration for Fall youth programs

by | Aug 25, 2021

Half Moon Bouldering, our family-owned and community focused bouldering gym near Fred Meyer. is now enrolling kids 6 and up for their Fall Pebble Apprentices series. Experienced staff will teach students how to develop their climbing skills, develop athletic potential, hone social and analytical skills, and much more. There will be a 4 to 1 student to instructor ratio to help ensure robust instruction.

“Our creative and inclusive setting will give young climbers age-appropriate challenges that will delight them, boost their confidence, and help them grow as athletes and individuals,” writes owner Gloria Man. While the typical month’s curriculum will be designed for beginner climbers, all skills are welcome and will be fostered and encouraged.

You can sign up for one month at a time, and a 1 month membership included for non-members. When visiting the gym outside of class time, all minors under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult.

Rental shoes and chalk provided during classes; students without their own climbing shoes will have to rent during personal visits.

Registration opens 2 weeks before the start of each series, and is now open for September series:
