Warm Necessities Drive on through the 20th

by | Dec 15, 2020

Right now we have more unhoused neighbors than ever, due to a lack of affordable housing in Seattle and economic hardships that have been exacerbated by Covid. As the skies get darker and the weather gets colder, many people don’t have the supplies they need to stay warm this winter.

That’s why 350 Seattle’s Neighborhood Mutual Aid Pods are hosting a warm necessities supply drive. They are collaborating with local mutual aid groups doing direct outreach to unhoused communities across the city.

Do you have warm clothes or camping gear to share? Fill out this form to get the details on how you can donate! 350 Seattle is accepting clean and in good condition: blankets, sleeping bags, tents, tarps, pads, warm coats and winter clothing (detailed list here).

There is a hosted drop-off site in Ballard (and many other neighborhoods) now through Sunday, December 20. Drop off new or gently-used warm clothes and camping gear with us, and they will get into the hands of folks who need them to stay warm and dry this winter. Let 350 Seattle know if you have any warm necessities to donate, and we’ll be in touch with more details on the drop-off sites.

Thank you for your generosity!
