Learn to cook a beautiful meal with Tom Douglas next Sunday and benefit FamilyWorks

by | Oct 17, 2020

The Sunday Supper is a FamilyWorks event that brings our community together to support our neighbors and the resiliency of all. Since we can’t get together in person like we usually do every year, FamilyWorks has come up with a special way to include Tom Douglas in this year’s event.

Luckily, Tom is a veteran in front of the camera and offered to do a live-streamed Cook-Along for all of us, on Sunday, October 25. Anyone can tune-in to watch the live stream, but if you want the complete experience, we recommend ordering a beautiful Take Home Meal-Kit from Tom Douglas Restaurants, which in turn benefit the programs at Familyworks.

All you have to do is choose your entrée option and quantity, and mark the pickup date on your calendar. While your entrée choice will come pre-cooked by the Tom Douglas Catering team, you’ll be responsible for preparing the salad, sides, and dessert. But don’t fret, because you’ll be able to follow Tom Douglas each step of the way!

Take Home Meal Kits

Salad

Prosser Farm fall salad of acorn squash, escarole, thyme vinaigrette

Entrée (Select One)

All entrées include a side of sautéed black kale with garlic.
Charcoal roasted chicken breast with scalloped potatoes
or
True North Alaska cod with scalloped potatoes
or
Cauliflower and butternut squash lasagna

Dessert

Cranberry apple crisp with vanilla whip

*The Take Home Meal Kits are partially prepared dinners. While the entrée will come pre-cooked, you get to follow along with Tom and prep the salad, sautéed black kale with garlic, and the cranberry apple crisp. Then heat your entrée and enjoy!
