After-school art classes, kid and adult yoga, bellydancing all now available to keep you active and involved

Seattle ReCreative, our dear non-profit community art store, has a couple enticing things going on.

First, there are classes where your student can learn fun and creative art using recycled materials in this online version of their popular after-school enrichment program. Anything is possible with imagination and creative reuse. Each week there will be a new set of projects with included supply packs to create art from the comfort and safety of your own home. Fall workshops for teens and adults are now on their website. You can register for a variety of online classes and get a discount when you register with a friend!

8 Limbs Yoga has just kicked off their Fall kids, tweens, and teens season.

“With the school season upon us and the ever-mounting challenges and uncertainties of 2020, we know there’s a lot for families to coordinate and a greater need than ever for grounding practices for your young loved ones. We are thrilled to offer our Kids & Tween/Teen Yoga Series via livestream on Zoom, until it’s safe to resume in-studio.”

Last but not least, Zaphara’s Bellydancersize classes have started meeting online Tuesdays from 7-8pm.

A very creative & fun way to tone-up your core, strengthen & coordinate muscles groups, and improves posture & flexibility. Dance instruction includes basic steps, tummy undulations, hands & arms and “lots of giggles.” There will also be 15 minutes after class for questions & answers. All ages, learn at your own pace.
