Legendary Phinney Center Tool Library to re-open on Saturdays

by | Aug 24, 2020

Have a project you’ve been itching to work on? Have some tools you need to return or tools you’d like to donate? The time has finally come!  For now, we’ll be open and on Saturday mornings, 9 am-11 am. We will expand our hours as our volunteer staff and demand increases.

What do you need to know to borrow?  You’ll need to be a current PNA member, over 18 years old, and you can borrow tools for a week at a time for a nominal fee ($1 to 10 per tool per week), with the potential for renewal, depending on demand. See available tools online.

Please wear a clean mask and sanitize your hands when you come in and be prepared to wait a few minutes if we’re busy –  we’ll be limiting the number of people in our small space at any given time. You’ll also need to sign our new borrower agreement. You can download it in advance and bring it in, or sign when you get there.

We are excited to re-open, and we’re working hard to make our space safe and the program sustainable. We appreciate your support and patience as we work through any kinks in our new systems!
