Free online forum for workers coping with COVID-19: Paid Leave, Unemployment Insurance, and Health Coverage

by | Apr 28, 2020

In only two days, Thursday, April 30 at noon, you can join the Economic Opportunity Institute of Seattle for a free interactive forum. Find out when and how to access paid leave, unemployment insurance, and get health coverage in this new COVID-19 era.

Our federal and state governments have responded to the Coronavirus pandemic by creating benefits and programs to help during these hard economic times. There many options and benefits, but which is the right one for you? If you still have a job, how do you balance work with caregiving and health concerns? If you’ve lost our job or hours, how do you get unemployment and keep health insurance?

Join EOI for an informational forum to help you sift through all the options and to learn about new federal emergency policies, how they interact with existing state programs, and how to figure out which are the best options for you.
