Together, let’s protect the future of the PNA

by | Apr 27, 2020

You may know, PhinneyWood.com is just one of the many PNA programs. Before COVID-19, along with the many community events, we operated four co-op pre-schools, provided licensed childcare at Whittier Kids, operated the Greenwood Senior Center, helped older adults age at home, supported the business community, provided affordable community space, ran a tool library, and more. PNA was founded by Phinney neighbors 40 years ago as the hub of our community. We don’t want to lose that now.

During our closure, we have been caring for our neighbors by providing free childcare to first responders and frontline workers, serving to-go meals to people in need, assisting and connecting seniors living alone, supporting local businesses, and more. But our loss of income from canceled events, programs, and rentals has resulted in a tremendous loss of funds for the PNA, leading to layoffs, cutbacks, and a threat to our very existence.

We’ve seen what this community can do for each other in difficult times, and right now we need your help to ensure the future of the PNA. Thank you!
