PhinneyWood Round-Up – April 16th – Camp TechWise, FamilyWorks, rue Santé, Press Then Press, and Fresh Flours

by | Apr 16, 2020

It’s hard for us all to keep up with everything going on these days. PhinneyWood is here to help you stay up to date on some of the latest happenings around the neighborhood.

If you’re looking for more ways to provide your children with a well-rounded education at home, check out TechWise Online. TechWise Online is a live, staff-facilitated program hosted on Zoom by the Camp TechWise summer staff who have been running summer camps at the Phinney Center for years. Choose from topics like game design, programming, art & animation, and more. For more information go here or email Kathleen Fitzgerald.

FamilyWorks is thankful for the increased efforts to aid them in the distribution and delivery of food and other necessities to the community. They were also recently invited onto the Washington State Combined Fund Drive’s Podcast for Good to let everyone know a little bit about the organization. You can listen to that podcast here. Go here if you’d like to know more about FamilyWorks and how you can get involved.

In search of hand sanitizer? Rue Santé has added it to their usual offerings of self-care products. The premium organic hand sanitizer is made with aloe and vegetable glycerin to hydrate and soothe your skin. Get some here and take care of your excessively scrubbed hands while sanitizing.

Local craft cider retailer Press Then Press recently added some new ciders and offerings to their website. If you’re looking to get some different beverage options for your Zoom Happy Hours, you can check out their selection and place orders here.

Fresh Flours has made it easier for you to get those much-craved pastries, sandwiches, and treats. While the Phinney Ridge store is still open for walk-in customers daily, you can now order online for pick up too. Place your orders here and your order should be available within 30 minutes!

Have some news that you need to share with the community, feel free to reach out so we can spread the word! There is an easy online submission form here.
