Life after graduation: Are your kids ready? Ballard High School PTSA guest speaker this Thursday

by | Feb 12, 2020

Come join the Ballard High School PTSA Thursday, February 13th at 7pm for an engaging talk with parent educator Jody McVittie, MD, CPDLT. Jody left her personal practice in 1996 to work as a lead trainer with the Positive Discipline Association and founded Sound Discipline in 2007.

Jody will be speaking about how to navigate the terrain of getting kids ready for life after graduation. Not about academics, but all the other aspects of life that your kids need to function in the real world after they leave home

How will they organize their life? From keeping fresh clothes at hand to feeding themselves more than ramen noodles, not overcharging their accounts to handling the social emotional field. Focus will be on the “many loose ends that we so often step in for them, and finding out together with interactive role play and conversation.

Refreshments will be served, all are welcome – please join us!
