Cookie Counter closing at end of month

by | Feb 3, 2020

Begun with a Kickstarter campaign and operated out of a VW Bus to start in 2014, the Cookie Counter was Seattle’s first vegan ice creamery and has been a fixture on Greenwood since 2016. Owners Chris Olson and Chelsea Keene announced the upcoming closure via Facebook with the anticipated final day February 29:

“Hi there! We just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has been here for us over the years; it’s meant a lot that you’ve come out of your way to support our small business. You’ve helped us to keep this labor of love going for quite some time and we appreciate that so much. We also need to let you know that we have decided to close The Cookie Counter and are starting a new chapter in our lives. We anticipate that our last day open will be Saturday, February 29th. Thank you again for being such a special part of our lives. This business hasn’t just been about making vegan cookies & ice cream…for us it’s also been about all the wonderful folks we’ve met along the way. Please come visit us over the next few weeks…we’d love to see you! We sure will miss you.”

Drop on by through the end of the month and say farewell to this unique small business that has helped make PhinneyWood the best business district in Seattle.

The Cookie Counter, 7415 Greenwood Ave N
