Holiday gift idea: fix a loved one’s treasured broken item this Wednesday

by | Dec 2, 2019

As the ethos of reuse and recycle slowly seeps into our society, why not bring it to the Holidays? The PNA Fixers Collective is an informal group of folks who meet up “simply for the fun of taking stuff apart, putting it back together again, and maybe even fixing some things in the process.”

The idea is just to take a moment before throwing something away to figure out if you can save it and prevent yourself from having to buy a replacement. It’s also an excellent way to learn how things work and just enjoy some good company.

So grab that non-functional family lamp that’s in the garage or grandma’s Cuisinart mixer from the 1970’s that hasn’t run since the 90’s and bring them by True Value this Wednesday evening. Kids welcome!

Wednesday December 4, 6 – 8pm
Greenwood True Value, 7201 Greenwood Ave N
