LGBTQ+ North Seattle Housing Fair

by | Jul 10, 2019

On Saturday, July 13 from 11am to 3pm at Maple Leaf Lutheran Church, LGBTQ Allyship will host the inaugural LGBTQ+ North Seattle Housing Fair. The purpose is to educate the community around housing issues, bringing community together to talk about their housing and neighborhood hopes and dreams, and ensuring access to housing and community resources.

Access to affordable housing is a crucial issue for LGBTQ communities as it impacts safety and visibility as well as access to community, culture, history, direct services and political clout.

The program will include North Seattle resources, an intergenerational LGBTQ+ panel, LGBTQ renters’ rights training, community artist performance, and community networking opportunities.

This event is free and more information can be found here.
