Disruptive Play: The Trickster in Politics and Culture, Thursday (6/27) at Couth Buzzard

by | Jun 26, 2019

Seattle based author Shepherd Siegel, whose book was recently acknowledged by Foreword Magazine as one of its 2018 award winners, will be performing at the Couth Buzzard tomorrow at 7pm.

Disruptive Play: The Trickster in Politics and Culture is about tricking power into performing acts of love. Disruptive Play bears witness to how this spirit informs social progress today, whether by Anonymous, Banksy, Bugs Bunny, or unrevealed mischief-makers and culture jammers. Such play is revolutionary and lights the path to a transformed society.”

You can see a video of Mr. Siegel on this subject here.

Couth Buzzard Books Espresso Buono Cafe, 8310 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA. Show is all ages and starts at 7pm.
