Used Kids’ Gear Sale, neighborhood cleanup, folk concert, blues in the neighborhood this weekend

Ballard Preschool Co-Op’s Gently Used Kids’ Gear Sale is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Phinney Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., in Community Hall in the Brick Building. Deals on gently used clothes (newborn-size 8), shoes, toys and gear – including pack and plays, cribs, car seats, strollers, maternity wear and more. Bring your own shopping bags and please park strollers at the door because it’s too crowded inside. A portion of the proceeds supports the PNA’s Ballard Preschool Co-op.
Greenwood Clean Part III from 3-5 p.m. Saturday. Meet outside of the Greenwood Library, 8016 Greenwood Ave. N. Volunteers will clean up neighborhood streets from 3-4 p.m., then gather in the library’s meeting room from 4-5 p.m. to talk about ways to help neighbors.
Seattle Folklore Society presents David Mallet at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Phinney Center in Community Hall in the Brick Building.
The Greenwood Library is hosting a workshop on Making More of a Business with your Art from 1-4 p.m. Sunday. Registration required; call 206-684-4086.
First Sundays Blues Open Jam Session at 7 p.m. Sunday at Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N.
Traffic-wise this weekend:

  • NBA pre-season game between Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings at 7:30 p.m. Friday at KeyArena.
  • Tail of the Lake Regatta on Lake Union from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Spectators can watch from Gas Works Park.
  • Seahawks vs. LA Rams at 1:25 p.m. Sunday at CenturyLink Field
