by | Sep 28, 2018

Seattle Public Library’s fourth annual Booktoberfest will bring librarians to bars and pubs for book-related happy hours, trivia nights, spooky stories, karaoke and more, from Oct. 2-30. All events are free (although you’ll need to pay for your own drinks) and registration is not required for most events. All Booktoberfest events are for folks 21 and over (except for Late Night at the Library at the Capitol Hill branch on Oct. 11).
The very first Bookish Trivia starts at 7 p.m. next Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Naked City Brewery and Taphouse, 8564 Greenwood Ave. N. No cover charge or fee, and the maximum team size is eight (no minimum).
Naked City also hosts Ghastly Tales and Cocktails at 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29.
You can find the full list of Booktoberfest events around the city on the event’s webpage.
