Several homes torn down at Phinney Avenue and 65th to be replaced by townhomes

by | Sep 12, 2018

Last year we told you about a planned housing development on Phinney Avenue just north of North 65th Street. A couple of days ago, several single-family homes were torn down to make way for it.

Twelve townhomes will take over the space, which is being developed by Isola Real Estate. Both are under Streamlined Design Review, meaning there weren’t any public meetings to provide input on design.

According to Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections, the townhomes are technically on two lots (four on one and eight on the other), but the designs are the same.
