Town Hall Seattle events in Phinney Ridge in September

Town Hall Seattle continues its “Inside/Out” season as its historic building undergoes renovation, with a planned grand re-opening in March 2019. Two more events are happening at the Phinney Neighborhood Association in September.
Saturday Family Concert: Birch Pereira & the Gin Joints at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, in Community Hall in the Brick Building. Tickets are $5 for adults, free for kids.

Transport your family to a time of honky-tonks and roadhouses for a Saturday Family Concert with the upbeat energy of Birch Pereira & the Gin Joints, a band born out of a love of the early years of swing, Americana, and rock’n’roll revival.

Bonnie J. Rough with Amy Lang and Nicole Brodeur: Birds, Bees, and #MeToo—Helping Our Kids Build Gender Equality at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. Tickets are $5.

Author Bonnie J. Rough is joined by parenting expert Amy Lang and columnist Nicole Brodeur to bring the birds and the bees into the 21st century and discuss egalitarian attitudes about gender, sex, and love.
