Artwalk and lots of concerts in Phinney Ridge and Greenwood this weekend

by | May 11, 2018

It’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend in Phinney Ridge and Greenwood. Perfect weather for our huge annual Art Up Artwalk Friday night and Saturday afternoon, and for all the other events in and around our neighborhood. Here are some highlights; check our Events calendar for more.
The annual Art Up Artwalk – The BIG One brings more than 100 artists to more than 70 venues throughout our neighborhood from 6-9 p.m. Friday and 12-5 p.m. Saturday. Check the Artwalk website for a list of all participating artists and venues, plus a map. Many restaurants and pubs are offering Artwalk specials, and many venues will have free snacks and drinks and music. Some will have special activities just for kids.

Trees for Seattle and Forterra NW are hosting a work party from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the triangle at Phinney Avenue North and North 50th Street.

This triangle is home to some lovely trees – let’s protect them! Come join the fun and help us stop the spread of blackberry and ivy, tidy up the landscape, save some trees, and make this landscape a prettier and safer space for the neighborhood. Please bring water, sturdy shoes, and wear long pants. We will provide tools, gloves, instruction, and snacks.
