Interactive theater…in a bathtub

by | Apr 24, 2018

Actress/artist Siobhan O’Loughlin is coming to Seattle to present her one-woman show “Broken Bone Bathtub,” which actually takes place in a bathtub in a private home. She’ll be presenting her show in 10 different Seattle neighborhoods plus Tacoma, including Phinney Ridge/Greenwood on May 5 and 18.

O’Loughlin has presented this piece of immersive theater in five countries. The specific location of each show will be given after you purchase tickets.

After a serious bike accident, a young woman musters up the courage to ask for help, and shares her story, exploring themes of trauma, suffering, human generosity and connection. The audience (of 4 to 8 people at a time) takes on the role of Siobhan’s close friends; listening and sharing their own experiences, and assisting the cast-clad artist in her very real ritual of taking a bath.

Tickets are $35.
