Concerts, rose pruning demonstration, PNA Wine Taste in Phinney-Greenwood this weekend

Couth Buzzard Books, 8310 Greenwood Ave. N., presents Jim Page and Orville Johnson in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday; Pint and Dale – Songs of the Seas at 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and Open Jazz Jam with Kenny Mandell (all levels welcome) from 2-4:15 p.m. Sunday.

The Seattle Rose Society hosts its annual rose pruning demonstration at the Rose Garden at Woodland Park Zoo (at North 50th Street and Fremont Avenue North) from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine. Light refreshments will be served. Demonstration and admission to the Rose Garden is free.

The Phinney Neighborhood Association, 6532 Phinney Ave. N., is hosting its 28th annual Wine Taste at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Progressive Spirituality Discussion Group from 4-5 p.m. Sunday at Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery, 8570 Greenwood Ave. N.

Gangspil performs Danish folk music at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Phinney Center, in Community Hall in the Brick Building.
