Seattle Public Library activities during Seattle Public Schools’ mid-winter break Feb. 16-25

Some branches of the Seattle Public Library are hosting activities for kids who will be out of school for mid-winter break from Feb. 16-25. Only a couple are happening in or near our neighborhood.

  • The Ballard Library, 5614 22nd Ave. NW, is showing the movie “Loving” (PG-13) from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25. Free; popcorn provided.
  • Kids Cafe Afterschool Meals at the Broadview Library, 12755 Greenwood Ave. N. All are welcome — no proof of income, address or citizenship is ever required, and it’s free. From 2:45-3:45 p.m. Fridays Feb. 16 and 23; 12:15-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20 and Thursday, Feb. 22; 1:15-2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21; no meal served on Monday, Feb. 19, due to the Presidents Day holiday.
