The Broadview Library has new times for its Kids Cafe, which provides free meals to any youth aged 18 and under through the end of the school year. It’s a partnership between Seattle Public Library, Food Lifeline, Boeing and the USDA.
The Broadview Library, at 12755 Greenwood Ave. N., now provides meals from 2:45-3:45 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays, which are weekly early dismissal days for Seattle Public Schools, Kids Cafe serves up food from 1:15-2:15 p.m.
Kids Café also is available at two other libraries:
- From 2:45-3:30 p.m. weekdays at the High Point Library, 3411 S.W. Raymond St.
- From 3:45 p.m.-4:15 p.m. weekdays at the South Park Library, 8604 Eighth Ave. S.
Kids CafĂ© meals are healthy and kid-friendly. All youth are welcome — no proof of income, address or citizenship is required.
Meals are not served during the Library’s holiday closures, which include Presidents Day on Feb. 19, Staff In-Service Day on March 7 and Memorial Day on May 28.
