by | Jan 18, 2018

The Broadview Library has new times for its Kids Cafe, which provides free meals to any youth aged 18 and under through the end of the school year. It’s a partnership between Seattle Public Library, Food Lifeline, Boeing and the USDA.

The Broadview Library, at 12755 Greenwood Ave. N., now provides meals from 2:45-3:45 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays, which are weekly early dismissal days for Seattle Public Schools, Kids Cafe serves up food from 1:15-2:15 p.m.

Kids Café also is available at two other libraries:

  • From 2:45-3:30 p.m. weekdays at the High Point Library, 3411 S.W. Raymond St.
  • From 3:45 p.m.-4:15 p.m. weekdays at the South Park Library, 8604 Eighth Ave. S.

Kids Café meals are healthy and kid-friendly. All youth are welcome — no proof of income, address or citizenship is required.

Meals are not served during the Library’s holiday closures, which include Presidents Day on Feb. 19, Staff In-Service Day on March 7 and Memorial Day on May 28.
