Comment on any environmental issues for 119 N. 85th St. housing project by Dec. 27

by | Dec 14, 2017

In April we told you that the building at 119 N. 85th St., which used to house Squirrel’s second-hand shop, would be demolished and replace by a four-story apartment building with 24 small efficiency dwelling units (studios) and retail at ground level.

The project underwent Administrative Review, meaning there was no public meeting for design review. The project still must undergo environmental review, and the public can weigh in on that until Dec. 27. You can comment online here or email [email protected] (make sure you reference project #3024817).
The current Land Use Application says the project will have 23 SEDUs and one apartment, plus one retail space on the ground floor. No parking will be provided.
