Volunteer to restore urban forests during Green Seattle Day

by | Sep 19, 2017

Green Seattle Day is Nov. 4, where volunteers can help restore our urban forests and plant trees in their favorite park.
Last year, more than 900 volunteers worked throughout the city. This year, Forterra, the nonprofit organizing the event, is hoping for more than 1,000 volunteers at 22 parks, including Woodland Park, North Beach Park and Green Lake Park.
Volunteer shifts are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. All ages are welcome, with no experience necessary and all materials provided. You can sign up here.
